Features
IPv4 and IPv6 Addresses
Each of our servers includes a public IPv4 address and an IPv6 address range. You can also add up to 256 additional IPv4 addresses per machine to meet your specific networking needs.
Anti-DDoS Protection
Every OVHcloud dedicated server includes built-in anti-DDoS protection to help keep your infrastructure secure and online, even during attacks.
Assistance and support
By hosting your servers from OVHcloud, you benefit from technical support via chat available Monday-Friday from 9 AM - 5:30 PM ET. In addition, a range of guides and an online Help Center is available to assist you during the installation and administration of your services.
Public Bandwidth
Your server has a default minimum bandwidth. Ingress and egress traffic is unlimited and free (with the exception of our datacentres located in the Asia-Pacific region). You also have the option of increasing the volume of your bandwidth.
vRack private network
Your server is provided with our private physical network — vRack. This means you can create your own cluster, or include your server in an existing infrastructure. It is fully isolated from the internet, and delivered at no extra cost.
Drive customization
When ordering your dedicated server, you have the option of customizing its storage capacity with a wide range of drives.
IPMI and KVM on IP
The IPMI (Intelligent Platform Management Interface) console, accessible from the OVHcloud Control Panel or API, provides you with a direct connection to your dedicated server. If your server becomes unavailable for any reason, you can keep control of it via its public IP address. This administration system also allows you to monitor the hardware components of your server.
Two display methods are available: the Internet browser (HTML 5) or the Java applet.
Operating Systems and Applications
Many operating systems and applications are available to be automatically installed via your OVHcloud Control Panel. These include various operating systems (Windows Server, Debian, Ubuntu or AlmaLinux and Rocky Linux), Plesk and cPanel web management interfaces, as well as Microsoft SQL Server for databases. Virtualization solutions like Proxmox, and Windows Hyper-V are also available.
