What is HYCU?
HYCU is a backup and recovery software publisher whose HYCU R-Cloud Hybrid Cloud Edition is specifically designed for Nutanix®. HYCU R-Cloud Hybrid Cloud Edition is validated and integrated with key Nutanix® features such as Nutanix API, Nutanix Snapshot, and Nutanix Volume Groups. Is my backup storage included with HYCU for OVHcloud?
No. HYCU for OVHcloud does not include backup storage. You may use the storage included in your Nutanix® cluster, our Bare Metal storage range, or the OVHcloud Object Storage service to achieve an effective data protection solution.
Is HYCU for OVHcloud available for VMware workloads?
No. Currently, HYCU for OVHcloud is only available for Nutanix® workloads.
Is the HYCU software deployed and operated by OVHcloud?
No. Customers are responsible for deploying and administering the HYCU software on their dedicated virtual server.
