OVHcloud at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon NA 2025

OVHcloud at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon NA 2025: What to Expect

OVHcloud is excited to be part of KubeCon + CloudNativeCon NA in Atlanta, November 10-13, 2025! This annual event is a must-attend for all things Cloud Native and Kubernetes, and it's one of our favorite events of the year.

This year, we’ve rolled out new features like Managed Kubernetes and Managed Private Registries on A-Z, and we’ve got big plans for 2026, including expanded MKS regions and the general availability of the OVHcloud CLI.

In the lead-up to the event, we’ll be sharing a series of blog posts, featuring talks from our Developer Advocate Aurélie Vache, who will be giving three sessions at KubeCon. First up: “Understanding Kyverno in a Visual Way”. Stay tuned for more details on her talks and where to find us at the event!

For now, let’s dive into Aurélie’s talk: “Understanding Kyverno in a Visual Way”, happening on Monday, November 10, at 10:40 AM EST.

Here’s a sneak peek in her own words!

Kubernetes has quickly become the go-to platform for deploying and managing containerized applications. However, understanding it can be challenging, and grasping the broader Cloud Native ecosystem is even more complex.

After years of using Kubernetes and tools like Kyverno in production, I asked myself: How can I make these technologies more accessible? That’s when I started developing a new way to explain Cloud Native concepts.

In the first part of my talk, I’ll share my journey—how I spent five years working evenings, nights, and weekends creating sketchnotes, blog posts, and videos to break down Kubernetes and its ecosystem. Eventually, I compiled everything into illustrated books and videos, and I’ll explain why I continue this work today.

In the second part, I’ll introduce Kyverno in a visual way, making it easier to understand and apply.

Why should you attend this talk?

A unique teaching & learning approach – Kubernetes and its ecosystem can be overwhelming, but I have developed a visual method to simplify complex technical concepts. You won’t be bogged down by dense theory; instead, you'll gain clear, illustrated explanations that stick, along with practical, concrete examples.

Proven experience – With years of hands-on experience working with Kubernetes and tools like Kyverno in real-world production environments, my insights are grounded in actual usage and real-world challenges.

A passionate storyteller – The first part of the session focuses on my journey, which spans over five years of creating sketchnotes, blog posts, videos, talks, and even illustrated technical books. My personal dedication makes the session not only educational but, I hope, also truly inspiring.

A better way to understand Kyverno – If you're curious about policy management in Kubernetes but find the documentation or typical talks too dry, this session will give you a much more intuitive and engaging way to grasp Kyverno.

Great for all levels – Whether you're just starting with Kubernetes or already using Kyverno in production, the visual explanations will offer a fresh perspective and help you retain knowledge more effectively.

Open-source contributions – As a CNCF Ambassador, I actively contribute to several CNCF projects like Kyverno and regularly provide feedback to the community. You’ll gain insights not just from a user’s perspective, but from someone directly involved in shaping these CNCF projects.

A premiere – This talk was created exclusively for KubeCon NA 2025’s KyvernoCon co-located event, and it will mark the first time I present it. I also authored a book specifically for the event.
