Hyperconverged infrastructure on a Bare Metal server
Hyperconverged infrastructures are software-defined infrastructures that group all computing, storage and network features together. They offer advantages like optimizing resource usage, reducing operating costs, and increasing productivity. With OVHcloud's high-performance, certified bare-metal dedicated servers, you can support your project under the best conditions, at the lowest cost.

Deploy your hyperconverged infrastructure with OVHcloud servers
A hyperconverged infrastructure requires a deployment strategy that includes compute, storage, and networking elements. You need to be able to scale it to fit your own needs, by adding additional resources and servers. Our Bare Metal servers deliver unparalleled computing power, high-performance storage, and simple, scalable resource allocation. They also hold compliance certifications such as ISO 27001, 27017, 27018, and 27701 so they meet the strict security requirements. Their flexibility means they can be used to host a wide range of compatible applications, while offering resilience supported by an SLA.
Optimized resources
Our Bare Metal servers deliver raw power, with high volumes of RAM and local storage for optimal performance. Computing power is increased tenfold with our next-generation processors.
A high-performance private network
Our network guarantees up to 50Gbps* private bandwidth between the servers in your cluster. Direct communication between each node provides better performance for high volumes of traffic, and data transfer is always smooth.
*on the High Grade ranges
High availability
Your projects are based on a high-availability infrastructure with a 99.99% SLA*. Deploy your architecture with innovative features like OVHcloud Link Aggregation, which offers redundant connectivity at a very high speed.
*on the High Grade and Scale ranges
Manage your costs
Your entire infrastructure is billed transparently. With unlimited ingress and egress traffic at no extra cost and no other variable charges, like the amount of data stored, you can easily predict your spending.
Our recommended Bare Metal servers

Description
Create your HCI cluster on Bare Metal servers, and keep full control over how you set up your websites, CRM, ERP, databases, and any other applications you need.
The Scale and High Grade (HGR-HCI) ranges have all the features required for converged infrastructures. For the most resource-intensive requirements, choose the more powerful (dual-processor), flexible (more disk technology) and scalable (up to 24 hot swap disks) HGR-HCI servers.
All of the ranges include four 25G network links. You can use them exclusively for communication between the nodes in your cluster, and get up to 100Gbps private bandwidth.
You get high system availability, to ensure instant access to data.
Options and services included
- A range of memory and storage options.
- 25Gbps private bandwidth guaranteed on Scale, and 50Gbps guaranteed on High Grade (optional).
- OVHcloud Link Aggregation (OLA) is available, and enabled by default at no additional cost.
What is a hyperconverged infrastructure?
Hyperconverged infrastructures (HCI) combine all of the storage, network and computing elements into a simple software management system. By simplifying the way you use your infrastructure and removing the complexity of standard 3-layer architecture, you can use it to create a public or private cloud, for example.
The hyperconverged infrastructure networks all of the storage, and distributes it between the different servers. You can add more servers to increase the resources available within the infrastructure. This saves a lot of time for teams managing the system, so they can focus on other value-added tasks. At a company level, investments in this type of infrastructure are greatly optimized, as the setup and management time is reduced. Resources are allocated and used optimally, for a reduced total cost of ownership (TCO).
