HCI OVHcloud

The Scale and High Grade (HGR-HCI) ranges have all the features required for converged infrastructures. For the most resource-intensive requirements, choose the more powerful (dual-processor), flexible (more disk technology) and scalable (up to 24 hot swap disks) HGR-HCI servers.

All of the ranges include four 25G network links. You can use them exclusively for communication between the nodes in your cluster, and get up to 100Gbps private bandwidth.

What is a hyperconverged infrastructure?

Hyperconverged infrastructures (HCI) combine all of the storage, network and computing elements into a simple software management system. By simplifying the way you use your infrastructure and removing the complexity of standard 3-layer architecture, you can use it to create a public or private cloud, for example.

The hyperconverged infrastructure networks all of the storage, and distributes it between the different servers. You can add more servers to increase the resources available within the infrastructure. This saves a lot of time for teams managing the system, so they can focus on other value-added tasks. At a company level, investments in this type of infrastructure are greatly optimized, as the setup and management time is reduced. Resources are allocated and used optimally, for a reduced total cost of ownership (TCO).
