Build a rock-solid infrastructure
Dedicated servers in the Infrastructure range are based on top-of-the-line components, and also have a high-bandwidth connection, along with advanced network and security features. These configurations are designed to offer average to above-average scalability requirements to companies and organizations.
This range is aimed at tech companies, universities and businesses of all sizes that require computing power, storage and network capacity adapted to distributed server clusters.
These platforms have the essential features for businesses that require the highest performance, and are looking to improve their applications’ availability and security:

Develop your infrastructure to suit your needs by linking your dedicated servers to other cloud services – like the Private Cloud or Public Cloud – using our high-bandwidth vRack private network.
The advantages of Infrastructure servers
Performance and reliability
Our experts have worked closely with various hardware manufacturers to select cutting-edge components for our Infrastructure range of dedicated servers. OVHcloud storage resources use the latest technology, which is designed for intensive usage requiring maximum reliability for critical applications.
High-bandwidth public and private networks
The Infrastructure range offers high-bandwidth network connectivity and unlimited traffic. Deploy a server in one of our 28 data centers across the globe and you will have access to our 17 Tbit/s backbone to transfer data with additional public or private bandwidth as needed. OVHcloud manages its own fiber-optic network and PoPs (points of presence) for optimal connectivity.
IPv4 and IPv6 addresses
Each server has a public IPv4 address and an IPv6 address range. As an option, you can rent additional IPv4 addresses for your dedicated server (up to 256 per machine).
To provide maximum security for your infrastructure DDoS protection is included with your OVHcloud dedicated servers. It ensures the continuity of service of your applications in case of attack.
Service-level agreement (SLA) 99.95%
All OVHcloud servers in this range have a 99.95% SLA availability for your business applications.
Optional with Infrastructure servers
Additional public bandwidth
Our dedicated servers have a default public bandwidth. Depending on the needs of your business, you can add additional bandwidth. This ensures you maintain a constant flow for your incoming and outgoing traffic.
Additional IP addresses
You can associate up to 256 IP addresses to your server, with no monthly fees. Only installation costs of $3.00 are charged. IP addresses and/or IP blocks are transferable between OVHcloud servers, allowing you to keep them when changing machines.
Creating cloud computing servers
What is a cloud computing server?
The term ‘cloud computing’ is used to describe the usage of physical servers, like the ones that make up the Infrastructure range. They are generally divided into virtual private servers, then configured onto a network to offer a variety of resources such as applications, storage spaces and other computing environments. Technologies like VMware and OpenStack can be used to set up cloud-computing infrastructures. By doing this, you can set a range of services such as IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service), SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) and PaaS (Platform-as-a-service).
